Seeing people succeed at things that are important to them has always brought me joy.
Being able to play some role in that process is even more special. That was my motivation for becoming a professional Christian Life Coach and establishing Mapmaker Coaching.

I bring life experience and solid training to my coaching.
  • 32-year management career with Texaco including special assignments in resource development, organizational design, and team building.
  • Church involvement as elder, deacon, Bible class teacher, and ministry leader.
  • Service on non-profit boards, including a term as Chairman, Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce.
  • A 36-year and just getting started marriage to Eloise, who is enjoying her second career as a Professor of Education.
  • Three successful adult children - and two great daughters-in-law.
  • B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry, Abilene Christian University.
  • Graduate, Institute for Life Coach Training (Christian Track), and additional training in retirement coaching with Retirement Options.
  • Member, International Coach Federation and Christian Coaches Network.

I also serve as a speaker and facilitator, and publish a monthly newsletter.

I consider it a unique privilege when invited into the lives of my clients, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
